As Menswear & Womenswear Designer, you will be responsible for the development from sketch to tech-pack for a wide range of product designs for the CRUÈL Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer collections. You’re passionate about Fashion, Art, Avant- Garde designs & the High-Fashion culture. You will be working in close operation with Founder & Designer of CRUÈL, William Ampofo & his team. This job is an internship.
You’re passionate about fashion, art, avant-garde designs and high-fashion designs
You’re an excellent communicator in both English and Dutch
You’re able to work in a structured and coherent manner
You’ve a passion towards design and details
You’re able to work under pressure
You’ve great innovative and creative skills, with the ability to work across diverse projects, keep within tight deadlines and manage expectations
Your responsibilities:

Take on a leading role within the design team; overseeing developed collection until first prototype, respecting deadlines

Research and identify trend developments

create concepts/moodboards, analyze collections, perform competitive analysis

produce trend boards with garment sketches, fabrics & trims

Keep up-to-date with current season sales and create a fast-react product in the season to meet demands

Direct Design for several categories for Men’s, Women’s & Essential Capsule Collections including accessories

Create Tech packs and technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator

Liaise with the technical department in fitting samples
Job Requirements

MBO 4/ HBO/ Bachelor work and thinking level
-
Available for 6 months - 5 days a week as an intern

A minimum of 1 year of experience within designing

Innovative and highly talented: your portfolio is full of inventive designs and you enjoy brainstorming and developing initial ideas to sketches

An expert eye for detail, design, pixel perfection, and layout

Great knowledge of fabrics and cuts

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. Translating design sketches
